Normally, PCs on the domain authenticate automatically behind the scenes without requiring and input or configuration from the user.
To connect a PC that is not on the domain, you have to manually add the wifi connection to the client PC and change some of its default settings:
Properties > Security tab > Settings > uncheck Validate Server Certificate
Properties > Security tab > Settings > Configure > uncheck Automatically use my Windows logon name and password
